Vermont Brewers Festival 2024
Friday, July 19, 2024 -- Saturday, July 20, 2024, 1700 - 2200
We are excited to host the 31st Vermont Brewers Festival on July 19-20, 2024. The Vermont Brewers Festival is one of the premier beer festivals in the world, held on the waterfront of Lake Champlain overlooking the Adirondack Mountains. Established in 1991, it is the only festival hosted by the brewers themselves and will feature 36 brewers on Friday and 36 brewers on Saturday. A handful of brewers will be at both Friday and Saturday sessions. You'll taste over 200 beers, many brewed exclusively for our festival. Enjoy live music, local food trucks, Vermont products, and games. The festival is hosted by the Vermont Brewers Association, a nonprofit membership organization that was founded in 1995 to promote and strengthen the culture of craft brewing in Vermont through marketing, education and advocacy for Vermont made beer.

Three Sessions:
We will have three sessions, one on Friday evening, and two on Saturday.
* Session 1: Friday July 19, 5:30pm-9:30pm
* Session 2: Saturday July 20, 12:00pm-4:00pm
* Session 3: Saturday July 20, 5:30pm-9:30pm
Our Brewers:
Having our brewers attend one to three tasting sessions rather than spending the entire weekend on the waterfront for three sessions will help ease the stress of running a business and being at our event. Many brewers are still very much understaffed. We don't want to overwork our brewers — instead we want to show them how much we appreciate them!
Out of State/Country Brewers:
We will have 10 out-of-state/country brewers joining us for this year's festival.
Beer Tasting Bracelet and Choose Your Pour Size:
Each attendee will receive bracelets with 15 pull tabs on them to use for drink tickets. You may choose your sample size. You receive 15 beer samples with admission. You may purchase 5 extra beer tickets at the VBA tent for $10. Designated Drivers cannot receive any alcoholic drink tastings.
* 1 sample/pull tab = 3 oz;
* 2 samples/pull tab = 6oz;
* 3 samples/pull tab = 9oz.
* Beers over 8% ABV require x2 pull tabs.
Fermentation Tent:
We are excited to bring back the Fermentation Tent experience again this year! Panel discussions will include one brewer and two other producers from the fermentation space. Tickets will be sold in advance or on-site (if available) for $15 at VBA Merch Tent. Moderating this year will be Jordan Barry, a food and drink writer for Seven Days (https://www.sevendaysvt.com/) , Burlington's alt-weekly newspaper. Prior to moving back to Vermont in 2019, she produced podcasts for Food52 and Brooklyn-based Heritage Radio Network, including Modernist BreadCrumbs, an in-depth series about bread. Barry holds a master's degree in food studies from New York University, where she researched language development in the American cider industry.
