UK's Largest Hot Sauce Festival: Hot Sauce Society
Saturday, May 10, 2025 -- Sunday, May 11, 2025, 1100 - 1700
It's landing in Copeland Park in Peckham on Saturday May 10th and Sunday May 11th, with its fiercest lineup yet. More information HERE. Images HERE.
Brimming with 42 of the UK's finest independent hot sauce makers plus hot street food, craft drinks and the welcome return of the infamous Chilli Karaoke, this is one weekend not to miss for hot heads, foodies, and sauce obsessives alike.
With advance tickets now available online for a bargain £5, admission remains free for those aged under 12—so it's family friendly too.
This year, amongst the 42 vendors you'll find perennial favorites Wiltshire Chilli Farm, Hop Burns and Black's "Hot Ones" table, Yep Kitchen, Rye Lane Hot Sauce and The Lazy Scientist, along with blazing newcomers like Captain Chippies Spiced Rum Hot Sauce and Little Baobab. Expect everything from small-batch fermented concoctions to hot honeys to Asian-style chilli oils.
Great hot sauce calls for great food. Seek out gourmet hot dogs at Oh My Dog, Nashville fried chicken at Lucky's Fried Chicken, high-end grilled cheese at C'est Cheese, and wood fired pizza on Sunday by 450 Degrees. And to balance out the heat, Marcello's Ice Cream makes a return visit with a festival-exclusive flavour to provide some much-needed respite.
To quench, Gipsy Hill beer will be on tap, and additionally, there will be complimentary tasters of Kraken Rum for those who like their fire with a pirate twist. There will also be a cocktail bar and top-quality coffee to get you through the weekend. Plus, for those quick on the draw, Gipsy Hill will offer a limited-edition collab Hot Sauce Society tote bag to the first 500 attendees on each day. They will also be running competitions on the day where you can win free pints and prizes.
Returning by popular demand, Hop Burns and Black presents Chilli Karaoke returns on Saturday alone, daring festival-goers to karaoke with their hearts as they battle the heat of a scotch bonnet. Sunday is free chilli-themed craft activities, chilli planting and free chilli face-painting, and the perfect day for spice-loving families.
Whether you're a seasoned chilli connoisseur or just dipping your toes into the world of spice, Hot Sauce Society 2025 is ready to bring the fire, the flavour, and the fun. Mark your calendars for May 10th and 11th, grab your tickets, and prepare for a weekend of serious heat!
