Join us for a raucous night of uncensored circus, stand up comedy, burlesque, pole performance, freestyle rap battles, aerial, beat-boxing, slam poetry, jaw-dropping sideshow, break-dancing, dirty haiku bouts and audience-interactive mayhem in a fast paced night of unfiltered entertainment!
Our Forbidden Fantasy theme roars to life, where we celebrate all kingdoms of imagination and go on a wild ride into wonderland! Gollum does burlesque, Harry Potter freestyle raps, the Mother of Dragons shows us why she's queen and you can roll for initiative at what the East Bay Express calls "the most consistently spectacular event Oakland has ever seen!"
The winner of multiple "Best of the Bay" awards, the SF Chronicle calls Ruckus "a dazzling, inspiring and celebratory display of talent" and "a tent revival for misfits and freaks, those whose artistry or spectatorship has a homespun bent and a bandit streak."
