Historic Pre-Chanukah Celebration in Old Greenwich
Old Greenwich is gearing up for a historic and exciting event as Jewish Riverside Old Greenwich (J-ROG) unveils plans for the first-ever public Chanukah celebration in the community. Taking place on Sunday, December 15, from 1 PM to 3 PM, this festive gathering promises fun and inspiration for all ages.
In collaboration with the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department and the Greenwich Fire Department, J-ROG is bringing together a wide range of activities and entertainment designed to usher in the holiday season with joy, light, and community spirit.
The centerpiece of the event will be the live building of the OG Menorah.
1:00 - 2:00 PM - Gameshow and Menorah Rise
2:00 - 3:00 PM - Food and activities in the Fire House

Live Game Show by Hollyrock – fun for all ages, including adults!

The Seaside Society is hosting a toy drive to bring smiles to children at Greenwich Hospital this Chanukah.
Please bring new toys to donate and brighten the holiday for hospital patients.
This celebration is truly geared for all ages, bringing together the entire community through the joy of Chanukah.
The Greenwich Police Department will be on-site for the entire duration of the event.
The pre-Chanukah celebration will also help families prepare for the holiday, with opportunities to stock up on essential items before the holiday officially begins on December 25.
