Sindhu Vee
An award-winning comedian, writer and actor. (BBC One). Sindhu has toured across the UK and performed stand up across the world, including at the invitation-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Sindhu's stand up special Sandhog is available to stream on Amazon Prime UK.
An accomplished actor, Sindhu is the co-lead in the forthcoming sitcom The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, produced by Sony Pictures Television for Amazon Freevee. Sindhu played Mrs Phelps in the recent smash hit Netflix feature film adaptation of Roald Dahl's Matilda, starring alongside Emma Thompson, Lashana Lynch and Stephen Graham. The feature film musical received wide critical acclaim and became the number one Family Movie on Netflix in 88 countries. Sindhu will also be seen in Kristin Scott Thomas' forthcoming directorial debut feature film My Mother's Wedding, which stars Scarlett Johansson and Sienna Miller. Vee's other acting credits include: Starstruck (BBC/HBO Max), Sex Education (Netflix) and Feel Good (Channel 4/Netflix).
Ali Woods
A half-English, half-Scottish comedian, podcaster and content creator. Fresh off his first sold out show at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, Ali is a refreshing mix of the 'every man' and the 'modern man', whose sensitivity and genuine interest in men's mental health gives him a great perspective on the modern 'lad' culture which often features in his comedy. Ali is that wonderful blend of comedy with a heart, speaking on topics such as football, the environment, and many social causes close to his heart. Ali won Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2020 and has appeared on BBC Radio 4, TalkRadio, TalkSport alongside hosting his own podcast 'All I Do Is Fail'. His online comedy sketches under the tag @aliwoodsgigs have gained millions of views and likes, and featured on LadBible and Buzzfeed UK. Many of Ali's followers found him after he supported Russell Kane on tour in 2022.
