Tess Erickson Cancer Benefit

Tess Erickson, known for her vibrant personality and infectious love for music, has been a fixture in the Midwest music scene for years. Alongside her wife Cassie, Tess has brought joy to countless people through her performances as a singer and DJ. Her contributions to the community extend beyond music, as she has also been an integral part of the Alma, WI, community, organizing events and spreading cheer at Bill's Talk of the Town.

However, Tess's life took an unexpected turn when she received a devastating diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer earlier this year. The cancer, identified as HER2 positive, estrogen positive, and progesterone negative, is aggressive, requiring intensive treatment. Tess has already begun chemotherapy, with further treatments including surgery and radiation on the horizon. Her journey towards recovery is expected to span at least a year, during which she is unable to work due to her compromised immune system.

To support Tess during this challenging time, the benefit event will feature a variety of activities for attendees to enjoy. From BBQ chicken and pulled pork plates to a Poker Run, Cornhole Tournament, Silent Auction, and live music, there will be something for everyone to participate in while contributing to a worthy cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards Tess's medical expenses.
