Welcome to Stand Up For Recovery! Join us for a night of Music and Laughter. This event is all about coming together as a community to celebrate Recovery and Healing. We have talented Comedians and Musicians from all walks of life. We invite Local Recovery home clients to see what life can be like on the other side of addiction.
Every individual in the show is a paid professional. I feel it is important to support local talent and that means more than just putting them up on your stage, everyone involved should be compensated for their time. .
However, this is not why we do what we do, it is not about the money. The most important part of Stand Up For Recovery is our commitment to providing a safe space for people, new in Recovery, to come out and have fun for one special night. The best part is for each and every show an invitation is sent out to all the local Recovery homes, asking if their clients would like to enjoy our event free of charge. Over 30% of our audience is filled with those clients.
