Said the Unsaid
Thursday, January 25, 2024, 1930 - 2130
An evening of theatricality topped with a song or two as well as dance to enhance words of wonder with a lot of thunder. Colourful cameo's from accompanying company adds to the mix.
Poetically put words occasionally put others off.
Said the Unsaid is not such an occasion.
Or is certainly not written to be.
A collection of poems performed with pizzazz that say a lot.
That is not to say they say it all as all is seldom said.
It could be said that far more is left unsaid then said.
All that kept in heart or head that dreads saying anything at all.
Social conventions silence some.
Political correctness as well.
Politeness has a quietness seldom heard in easily offended ears.
Not knowing what to say at times is not the case with these rhymes.
So come hear what you will as the listener plays their part.
Hearing what is endearing.
Fearing to hear what is too near prevents hearing at all.
Steering ears "away from uncomfortable" is the listeners prerogative.
Nothing derogative said unless interpreted as such.
So much of Said the Unsaid said with sincerity.
And a lot of rarity. And a bit of hilarity.
