Inspired by the glamour of Old School Black Hollywood, this event promises to be a night of Inspiration, Connection, and Cultural Appreciation, and Award Winning Performances! *Dress to Impress.

7:30pm SHARP! Don’t miss this chance to honor local Black voices through the Fine Arts and Film as you join us for a night that promises to be both impactful, memorable and entertaining as you experience the debut of our stage production, edited for the big screen and set for national distribution!
This film showcases a diverse array of award winning performances, that pay homage to Black History, Excellence and this journey we call Life while delivering Powerful messages through award winning Spoken Word Poetry, from three time Emmy award winner Boris "Bluz" Rogers, Charlotte Poet Laureate Junious "Jay" Ward, North Carolina A and T Poet Laureate Essence Connor Barringer, the former head of poetry for the Raleigh Film and Poetry Festival DS Will, and award winning poet Linda Orji; Song from Tawanna Hughes; African dance from Moving Sprits Inc., Urban Ballroom dance from Robert Fitzgerald of Dancing with Champagne and his partner Tiffany Jaye, Jazz from Saxophonist Spunk Adams, Conscious Rap by Mason "Quill" Parker, Visual Artistry by Aisha Thomas, Storytelling, Curation, and Hosting by Dionne D. Hunter and Co-Host Laheelah Hunter.
