Port Alberni - #OwnersWanted Workshop

On September 25 and 26 from 4 - 7PM PST at Port Alberni's Best Western Barclay Hotel, non-profit organization Futurpreneur BC will be hosting a new program designed specifically for local business owners and entrepreneurs. Futurpreneur has helped over 17,000 entrepreneurs across Canada since inception by providing them with the know-how and also the funding to get their ideas off the ground.


The focus of this entirely new program, #OwnersWanted, is buying and selling local and small businesses in Port Alberni.

In Canada, small businesses make up 98% of the market. #OwnersWanted will help entrepreneurs learn how to sell their business or potentially how to buy one. Attendees will be provided with dinner and leave with an understanding of how to:


- Find a viable business that may interest them

- Approach and appeal to business owners

- Put a deal together, practice negotiating and due diligence

- Close the deal in a mock negotiation process and

- Structure and obtain the necessary funding and

- Learn about Futurpreneur BC's funding options
