Piano Concert Fundraiser for Thacher Hall!

Thacher Hall, the former Swedenborgian Church overlooking the Yamrouth Port Common, will kick-off the music season with a fundraiser - a piano concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024. We hope to welcome new and returning friends to our beautifully restored Audience Room and raise enough funds to cover two months of operating expenses. Although we have been incredibly fortunate with grants, they rarely cover operating costs, which run up to $3,600 a month, including salaries and utilities.

Admission to the concert will be free, although there is a suggested donation of $20. All proceeds go to keeping our lights on and doors open so we can bring great programs to the community. Hope you will join us on April 28 to revel in the acoustics of our Audience Room and enjoy Matthew Wiencke, music director at St. Peter's Church in Osterville, as he takes our 1920s Steinway piano through its paces.
