Pet photo with Santa at Korna Pet
Saturday, November 30, 2024 -- Sunday, December 1, 2024, 1100 - 1600
Korna Pet's beloved annual "Pet Photos with Santa" is back, and this year it's even more special! Happening at Korna Pet locations in North Vancouver, Coquitlam, and Kitsilano, the event will take place on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pet owners and families are invited to capture their holiday moments while helping make a difference in their community.
This year's event is in partnership with Rotary District 5040, with local Rotary Clubs managing each location. The Lions Gate Rotary Club will host at Korna Pet North Vancouver, the Cambie Rotary Club at Korna Pet Coquitlam, and the Arbutus Rotary Club at Korna Pet Kitsilano. Each $20 donation will be split, supporting both a local animal charity and the Rotary Club's community initiatives. Charities selected include the Regional Animal Protection Society (RAPS) and BC Guide Dog Society, helping make this a season of giving for both people and pets alike.
What to Expect
Families will have the chance to dress up their pets, meet Santa, and create lasting memories with high-quality photos, perfect for holiday cards or keepsakes. Each location will be decorated with festive backdrops, lights, and props to ensure your photos capture the holiday spirit. Experienced volunteers will be on-site, helping create the best experience possible, including tips and tricks for capturing the perfect holiday snapshot.
Special Note to the Community
This holiday season, we encourage everyone to shop local. With ongoing subway construction near Korna Pet's Kitsilano location, community support is more important than ever. As the area endures two more years of construction, your visits and purchases mean a great deal to help local businesses thrive during this challenging time.

Why Attend?
This event has been a cherished tradition for nearly 30 years, bringing families and their pets together to celebrate the season. Beyond photos, it's an opportunity to come together as a community, support local charities, and be a part of something meaningful. After a brief hiatus during the pandemic, the event resumed last year thanks to dedicated supporters like Michael Cowhig from the Arbutus Rotary Club, who saw the potential to turn this tradition into a Rotary-supported community event. This partnership between Korna Pet and Rotary District 5040 ensures that this cherished holiday tradition will continue to make a positive impact.
