Olympia Harbor Days Maritime Festival, Drone Show and Night Market

Olympia Harbor Days Festival is Olympia's and the South Sound's largest and free waterfront 3-day event featuring the maritime heritage of the South Puget Sound celebrating 51 Years in 2024. This award winning festival, hosted by the South Sound Maritime Heritage Association, is family friendly with over 350 things to do and see. Climb aboard Tugboats on Saturday and watch them race on Sunday. At the docks find tall ships, steamships, sailboats, mini tugs, remote control tugboats and sailboats. Explore the seven blocks of the festival to find makers markets, food g'alleys, cedar stick smoked salmon, music, sand carving, hands on activities for the kids, pirates and so much more. Discover the regional culture and heritage of the vintage tugboats and local costal tribes. Learn about the Port of Olympia operations and the small watercraft clubs of Budd Inlet. And enjoy listening to lots of great local musicians on two stages. Always held Labor Day Weekend from Friday to Sunday, this year August 30, 31 and September 1, 2024, times vary daily. 150 Maritime Drone Show over Budd Inlet. Olympia Harbor Days Festival opens at 5PM and the Drone show starts at 9:30PM. Come early and enjoy the night market with music, shopping, food and beer. Pre-show entertainment starting at 8:30PM includes illuminated belly dancing at Percival Park and Fire and LED Light Dancing at Port Plaza.

Best drone show viewing is from the East or West and will appear distorted as you move North or South. Recommended viewing areas include Percival Landing Boardwalk near the park, the Port Plaza and the Westbay Park north end of Westbay Drive. Olympia Harbor Days Community Radio Partner.
