October 18th Author Talk at Scuppernong Books

Join Therese Soukar Chehade, author of WE WALKED ON; Valerie Nieman, author of IN THE LONELY BACKWATER; and Beth Castrodale, author of THE INHABITANTS, for a discussion of a theme that runs through their novels: how a rich life of the mind can help us cope with difficulty or danger. This richness may come through reading and writing, making visual art, or observing the natural world. The authors will also read from their books.
