Now Foster is a brand new (London-wide for now) initiative in which you'd sign up to be matched with a child in care who would come and stay with you and your family on a monthly basis.

Becoming a Weekender is a wonderful way to give a child in care additional support and connections while giving their primary carers time for themselves. We believe it'll improve placement stability and outcomes for children, and in the longer term that it will build a pipeline of people who could make great foster carers but currently know little about the system.
