The Newburport Choral Society will present their annual spring concert on Saturday May 4th at 7:30 p.m. or Sunday, May 5th at 4:00 p.m. at Pentucket Regional High School’s spacious new auditorium in West Newbury. The concert includes some of the most passionate choral music ever written celebrating the resilience of the human spirit and the redeeming power of hope. The performance features Maurice Duruflé’s glorious Requiem, and 20th Century French composer Lili Boulanger’s magnificent Psalm 24. The chorus will be accompanied by an 18-piece orchestra, including strings, trumpets, timpani, harp, piano and organ.
