Native Plant Community Celebration

The Desert Horticultural Society is excited to announce the Native Plant Community Celebration, an engaging free event dedicated to promoting the beauty and benefits of native plants in the Coachella Valley. We are inviting gardening enthusiasts, nature lovers, and the community at large to explore the vibrant world of desert-adapted plants and sustainable gardening practices. With a special focus on native species, this event will feature free expert-led presentations, plant demonstrations, desert-adapted fruit trees, tree pruning, sustainable irrigation, plantings to attract birds, wildlife and Monarchs, and hands-on workshops, all aimed at enhancing awareness of how native plants can transform landscapes into water-wise, resilient, and ecologically supportive environments.
