Mary Anning had to fight against the class structure of nineteenth century England as well as gender discrimination. Her discoveries were often ignored and sometimes credited to others. Join us for a look, both serious and light-hearted, at this fascinating woman, her friends, and her adversaries. The vocal soloists and chamber orchestra are all professionals from the Greater Boston area: Aurora Martin, Emily Bieber-Harris, Elizabeth Clutts Ayers-Kerr, Timothy Ayres-Kerr, Mark Schiappucci, and Frank Walker.
