Louisville to welcome speakers from city on Ukraine's war front
Sunday, January 26, 2025, 1400 - 1500
Hear the powerful voices from war-torn Ukraine. Join us as speakers come to Louisville to share experiences of daily survival amidst constant threats of missiles and drones. Learn about efforts to deliver aid in a city on the war's front line and discover ways to give hope to some of the world's most vulnerable people. Speaker Kristina Synia lives in Kherson, Ukraine and distributes aid for World Aid Runners. She will speak along with Ben Dusing, who directs World Aid Runners, the only U.S.-based nonprofit that currently resides in Kherson due to the threats posed by the war.
