Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment

Join us for the 22nd Annual Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment at Lake Pittsfield in Pike County, IL. Walk thru the camps and visit with Union and Confederate artillery, cavalry, infantry, naval and civilian reenactors. Experience life in the 1860's with period music by the 10th Illinois Cavalry Band and nationally known folk singer Chris Vallillo. Enjoy the magic show, the Ladies and Gentlemens Fashion Show and Lemonade Party, and more. Programs include Civil War medicine, ladies make-up, causes and effects of the Civil War and the Soldier's Aide Society. Attend the 1860's church service. Period crrafts, food and vendors. Lincoln Days is an Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area Signature Event sponsored by the Abe Lincoln Project/Looking for Lincoln in PIke County and the City of Pittsfield. Admission is free for this wonderful weekend event.
