Kingsclere Cancer Research Ball
Friday, September 6, 2024 -- Saturday, September 7, 2024, 1830 - 0000
Kingsclere Cancer Research Fundraiser (KCRF)
In 2022 Mandy, Beccy, Claire and Sean held a ball to raise money for Cancer Research UK (CRUK). Thanks to sponsors, prize donors and ticket buyers the Ball raised an amazing £40,000. In 2024, we are going again!! All 4 of us have been impacted by cancer, so we are determined to raise more funds for investment in medical research - the clear path to advances in cancer treatment and ultimately a cure.
Our ball takes place on Friday 6th September at the beautiful Oakley Hall, Oakley, Basingstoke, RG23 7EL. Start time 6:30pm. Carriages at Midnght.
Tickets are available through our website, which also has details about sponsorship opportunities, auction prize donations and direct Cancer Research UK (CRUK) donations.
In 2022, KCRF raised over £40,000 for CRUK and some 200 people attended the event. In 2024, we hope to exceed both of these numbers with a venue capacity of over 300 people.
Tickets for the event are priced at £85 per person. This can be paid in instalments, with £45 due at booking and the balance payable before 31 May 2024. Bookings can be made easily through our website. Just click on the pink buttons!
Included in the price of the ticket will be a welcome reception drink; 3-course meal; tea/coffee; entry into silent auction; disco; guest speaker/s and other entertainment - including a musical welcome, photo booth and much more besides. Tickets can be purchase individually, in couples, small groups or by table (8, 10 and 12 seat tables available).
Sponsorship
Our ball is a local event with global reach and offer exciting opportunities for sponsors with tailored packages to suit all business budgets and requirements. Over 200 people attended our sold-out 2022 event, with many more participating across the world through the live online Silent Auction. With a capacity of over 300, our new venue offers potential for fundraising and brand recognition on an even bigger scale.
Whether you are looking for an exclusive way to entertain clients, a special night out with friends or would like to showcase your brand via sponsorship, we have a package for you. Your business will be seen by a wide audience of families, supporters and businesses across Hampshire, the Thames Valley, the UK and internationally.
Reasons to get involved:
- Brand visibility locally, regionally, nationally and internationally
- Community good cause involvement
- Engagement opportunity with other sponsors, supporters and guests
- Lead generation
Silent Auction
An exciting part of our evening and a great fundraiser is our online Silent Auction. This goes online approximately two weeks prior to the event and finishes during the evening of the ball itself. It is accessible not just to ball attendees, but to anyone else in the UK and abroad. Interested generated is significant.
In 2022, over 60 prize donations were received ranging from local produce from local business, then Sting's bass guitar (!) up to business class flights to Thailand! We welcome all prize donations to help support this great cause.
Why donate a prize?
You and/or your business will receive significant publicity on our website, in the media and on the night of the event itself. The support you provide will be seen by a wide audience of families, supporters and businesses across the region and beyond. Our Silent Auction is a truly global event, with bidders and other donors from all over the world. We anticipate significant interest again for our 2024 event and have commitments already from major international
businesses and local partners.
