Join Harwich residents Joe Mongelli and Scott Avidon as they recreate iconic recordings of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Art Blakey and Horace Silver. This concert will be at 204 Sisson Rd, Harwich outdoors in the courtyard. Bring your own chairs, blankets and food. Concert will re-locate to the indoor auditorium in case of rain.
The Jazz Giants series includes the most popular and classic jazz from 1955-1965 - perhaps the most compelling period in the annals of jazz.
Joe (trumpet/flugelhorn) and Scott (sax) will be joined by the Cape Jazz Crew: Mark Borgmann, piano; Mike Ryle, upright bass and Michael Dunford, drums. Get ready to tap your feet and snap your fingers to timeless tunes as originally arranged and recorded.
