Gold Ridge Organic Farms joins Sonoma County Farm Trails in celebrating all things locally made and farm grown with Holidays Along the Farm Trails.
Sip our spiced organic apple cider made with estate organic apples and enjoy an heirloom apple hand pie by Blooms End while exploring hand-crafted products from the farm and gifts made by some of our favorite local makers and friends of the farm.
Our festively decorated Farm Shop features our award-winning olive oils and apple cider vinegars, along with locally crafted herbal products for the face and body, as well as all the necessaries to outfit your home, kitchen and pantry, including: specialty salts and spice blends, an array of eye-catching and inspiring cookbooks, olive wood cheese boards, spoons, spatulas, and much more.
Free event with limited parking onsite.
We are currently accepting reservations for Olive Oil Tasting Experiences and Tours, Thursday through Sunday. Please reserve via TOCK or inquire directly. Weekday tours and tastings available by appointment only. Groups of 6 or more, please contact our team for more information.
Gold Ridge Organic Farms is located 50 miles northwest of San Francisco in the rolling hills of Sebastopol in beautiful Sonoma County, California. The orchards include 70 acres of olives and 16 acres of apples and unique citrus, including over 75 varieties of Heirloom Apples, as well as Honeycrisps, Fujis, Pink Pearl Apples, plus Heirloom European and Asian Pears, and English Lavender.
Founder-Farmer Brooke Hazen settled here in 2000 knowing that sandy loam soils and coastal breezes would offer ideal conditions for farming. The proximity of Gold Ridge Organic Farms to the Pacific Ocean in West Sonoma County offers unique benefits for farming. Temperatures are cooler than inland locations, thanks to generous breezes from the Sonoma Coast. The sandy loam of Gold Ridge soils provides excellent drainage and an outstanding natural chemical balance to all our orchards. These attributes encourage plant growth without vigor. This unique combination of soil, climate, and place is the foundation for growing our healthy and delicious fruit.
