Handmade in America Professional Craft Show
Saturday, November 18, 2023, 0900 - 1530
The “Handmade in America” Professional Craft Show will be held at the Upper Township Community Center on Saturday, November 18 (the Saturday BEFORE Thanksgiving). Vendors are chosen by jury, and almost every vendor is from New Jersey. Every item in the show is made by skilled craftsmen, so everything is literally “handmade in America.” Show hours are from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.
Vendors include: Madd Potters from Cape May, Merry May’s Quilts and Other Fun Stuff from Tuckahoe, SandS Kitchens, Little Egg Harbor Soap Co., Anthony Niglio’s Dream Trader jewelry, South Dennis Heritage Arts, Bob Peterson’s Decoy Carvings, and many other experienced artists, as well as a few emerging artists.
Other activities for the day include a huge Lucky Number Auction including outstanding items donated by many exhibiting Crafters, food, live music from 10 am to 2 pm, and fun for all.
The show’s net proceeds will benefit the South Jersey chapter of the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Quilts of Valor’s Mission is to: Cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. To date their volunteers have awarded over 300,000 quilts to deserving veterans. In order to nominate someone, please visit the following web site: https://www.qovf.org/nominations-awards/
