Greener Energy Fair

Wyre Forest Green Alliance invites local residents to a Greener Energy Fair. It will be between 10am and 2pm at Trinity Methodist Centre, just off the Kidderminster ring road and with free parking. Entry to the event is free and there will even be free tea and coffee!

There is a new government drive to drastically reduce the UK's dependency on fossil fuels by more than doubling our wind and solar capacity by 2030. Apart from 'doing our bit' to help slow climate change this will hugely improve our future energy security. But it will only work if individuals do their bit too, by reducing their fossil fuel dependency. So come along and talk to a range of energy experts. Find out about home energy assessment, home insulation, heat pumps, solar energy systems, going electric, bio fuels. There will also be information on grants.

And there's more! A series of seven energy themed 'pop-up talks' of 5-10 minutes, every half hour from 10:30am. These will be energy related but covering different subjects from the main heating system topics. Entertaining, provocative, informative and designed to spark new thinking on energy!
