Funhouse Comedy Club - New Comedy Night in Wellingborough September 2024

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Chester House Estate, Wellingborough, on Friday September 27th.

Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world.”

Topping the bill is winner of the highly prestigious British Comedian of the Year 2023, the self-assured Alistair Williams. Smart, passionate, impressively quick witted and bursting with infectious confidence, he tackles any subject matter with amusing results.

Opening the night will be Canadian stand-up, writer and actor David Tsonos. With his friendly and confident persona, he intrigues the audience with his combination of banter and impulsive comments.

Also appearing is James Sherwood sharing his imaginative musical jokes and beautifully crafted original comedy songs. His sharp wit and inspirational set results in truly laugh out loud comedy.
