Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Swadlincote, September 2024

Funhouse Comedy Club, brings more fun and laughter to The Mount Pleasant Inn, Swadlincote on Tuesday September 24th.

Topping the bill is comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle, who came 3rd in the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 and previously performed as a warm-up act on the Royal Variety performance. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include ’Phoenix Nights’, ‘Live at the Palladium’ and ‘Max and Paddy’. Amusing his audiences with his high energy and distinctive talents, there’s something for everyone.

Opening the night will be Roger Monkhouse one of the most experienced acts in the business. His deadpan style and quick wit make him one of the best acts out there, and he is a regular fixture at top venues all over the country, as well as performing extensively throughout the rest of the world.

Completing the line-up is the uniquely amusing Kent Cameron.

Compere for the night the cheeky and friendly Stevie Gray with his boundless energy and mix of news and comedy.
