Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Southwell November 2024

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great night of laughter to the Saracens Head, Southwell on Thursday November 14th.
Topping the bill is comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle, who came 3rd in the final of Britain's Got Talent 2020 and previously performed as a warm-up act on the Royal Variety performance. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include 'Phoenix Nights', 'Live at the Palladium' and 'Max and Paddy'. Amusing his audiences with his high energy and distinctive talents, there's something for everyone.
Opening the night will be winner of ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV's Splash. Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves the crowd wanting for more.
Also appearing is 'Brummie' Andy White. With his mad afro and daft voices he delivers a mix of topical and observational humour. His energetic persona can change from cheeky and upbeat to deadpan, without a flinch.
Completing the line-up will be Mandy McCarthy with her mixture of gags, stories of family life and the joys of getting older
Compere for the night is the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
