Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Blisworth, Northants March 2025
Thursday, March 27, 2025, 2030 - 2300
Funhouse Comedy is back at the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Thursday March 27th for more fun and laughter.
Topping the bill is the award winning Nathan Caton, star of radio and TV, including TV’s Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News and BBC Radio 4’s ‘Can’t Tell Nathan Caton Nothing’, which had its 3rd series in 2014. He started his comedy career as a 19 year old and immediately started winning awards. He has been called the most exciting young black comic on the circuit and combines his laidback, clear-cut material with his art of cutting down ‘fools’ both in everyday life and the media.
Opening the night will be actor, writer and stand-up the optimistic and exuberant Laura Lexx, who has appeared on ‘Live at the Apollo’, with her delightfully funny take on things. She immediately charms the audience with her quick quips and is happy to discuss anything. Her distinctive style is fantastically offbeat and hilarious, as well as both cheeky and charming, delivering even her sarcasm and irony with a sparkly grin.
Also appearing is ‘Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2015’ Tom Little, with his unique way of delivering his cleverly crafted jokes.
Compere for the night will be James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour he previously worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his ‘Walk of Fame’.
