Fall Festival and Plant Sale hosted by Maricopa County Master Gardeners and Metro Tech High School
Saturday, October 26, 2024, 0800 - 1300
The 22nd annual Fall Festival and Plant Sale event, will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024, hosted by the Maricopa County Master Gardener program in collaboration with the Metro Tech High School. The event will be from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. located at Metro Tech High School, 1900 W. Thomas in Phoenix, AZ.
More than 70 dedicated Maricopa County Master Gardener volunteers propagate more than 1,000 plants and volunteer at the event. Plants find new homes within the local Maricopa County gardens and landscapes. As festival patrons purchase donated plants, Master Gardener experts are available to provide advice on proper plant placement, installation, and care.
The event includes plant sales by the Master Gardeners and Metro Tech Horticulture department, invited plant and craft vendors, student clubs, prize drawings, and a treasure of rummage items. Unique vendor items this year include a beautiful variety of arts and crafts, homemade baked goods by Metro Tech culinary students, handmade soaps, crafts, and jewelry, as well as pottery items. A children’s corner will provide activities for the younger children enjoying the festival with family.
The event is free and open to the public. Please bring cash as student clubs and some vendors are cash only. Free parking for the Fall Festival is in the Thomas Ave. parking lot of Metro Tech High School.
