At AARP, we're here to support you. We can help you get answers, connect with other family caregivers and find resources close to home to help you on your caregiving journey. That's why we've teams up with Floris United Methodist Church to bring you a special Saturday morning conference and resource fair for family caregivers.
Morning refreshments and a complimentary lunch will be served.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. to allow time to visit our caregiver's resource fair. Program begins at 9 a.m.
This event is free and open to all. Registration is required.
The goal of this conference and resource fair is to help you prepare for your caregiving journey.
Keynote speaker: Amy Goyer, author of Juggling Life, Work and Caregiving, is an expert in aging and families, specializing in family caregiving. She is a consultant, speaker and writer and serves as AARP's family and caregiving expert. Participants also have an opportunity to connect with others, find local resources, and attend workshops.
Who should attend:
· Individuals caring for family members or friends.
· Those anticipating the need for caregiving support.
· Professionals or volunteers in long-term care settings.
