WORKSHOP TOPICS:
Storytelling, Partner Work and Holistic Stress Management (Workshop 1):
Date: Sunday, January 7th (2-4 pm PST)
In this workshop, you'll be invited to explore the healing power of storytelling as a means of processing and expressing your emotions.
Through guided mindfulness exercises and partner work, we'll create a supportive space for you to share your unique story as well as hold space for others. This workshop will also include stress management techniques + info on the autonomic nervous system and how grief impacts stress levels.
This workshop is designed for individuals seeking a holistic and collaborative approach to grief, providing a nurturing environment for personal growth and connection. Join us on this journey of healing, self-discovery, and resilience.
Breathwork, Chair Yoga and Movement with Guest Teacher Lance Essihos (Workshop 2):
Date: Sunday, January 14th (2-4 pm PST)
This unique workshop combines the therapeutic power of breathwork, the accessibility of chair yoga, and the freedom in movement to help process and feel deep-seated emotions. We'll be joined by special guest Lance Essihos, best-selling author of 'Mastering Adversity' and host of the Top 1% University of Adversity Podcast who will be running the breathwork portion of this workshop.

Self-Care, Nutrition and Gut Health with Guest Speaker Dr. Bahareh Moshtagh MDn (Workshop 3):

Although grief is a unique journey for each individual, there are certain common difficulties that people tend to face during this time such as healthy self-care. This workshop aims to empower you with tools to nourish your mind, body, and soul during this challenging time.
Our featured guest speaker Dr. Bahareh, an expert in nutrition and gut health, will share insights on how holistic approaches to self-care can profoundly impact your well-being during the grieving process. Discover the connection between nutrition, physical health, and emotional resilience, and learn practical strategies to enhance your overall self-care routine.
In this supportive environment, we'll use journaling to dive deeper into defining self-care as well as creating healthy routines that work for each individual. Join us for an enlightening and nurturing experience as we navigate the path of grief together, focusing on self-acceptance and the importance of nourishing both body and spirit.
Mindfulness, Mindful Journaling and Meditation (Workshop 4):
Date: Sunday, January 28th (2-4 pm PST)
Grief is a profound and personal experience, and this workshop offers a safe space for inward reflection and self-work.
In this workshop, we'll be using "parts work" to dive deeper into self-awareness and the subconscious.
Through guided journaling, mindfulness techniques and meditation, you may discover a deeper sense of inner peace and resilience.
This workshop is designed to empower you with practical tools to navigate grief with mindfulness and compassion. Join us for an enriching experience that combines ancient yogic practices with contemporary tools.
DATES and TIMES:
Every Sunday in January (January 7, 14, 21, 28).
From 2-4 pm PST (5-7 pm EST).
