EXPLORE FALL ENROLLMENT AT KHAN WORLD SCHOOL AT ASU PREP

Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy and co-creator of Khan World School at ASU Prep (KWS), and Betsy Fowler, Head of Schools, will host live Question and Answer sessions for students and parents interested in exploring enrollment in this unique online honors program for fall 2024. Offered through ASU Preparatory Academy, KWS is a highly personalized approach to learning open to middle school and high school students in grades six through 12 who are eager to take control of their own learning experience.
KWS, a full-time online school, combines the expertise of ASU Prep and the Khan network (Khan Academy, Khan Lab School and Schoolhouse.world) in a unique model based on the core principles of mastery-based learning, personalization of each student's experience and learning together as a community.
The advanced college-prep curriculum uses a combination of high-quality, self-paced online lessons, small-group tutorials and peer tutoring. Students master core knowledge and explore society's most challenging problems with support from peers and an inspiring network of world-class learning guides, tutors, coaches and peers who provide personalized instruction, academic guidance and social support.
Students who are self-motivated and passionate about learning excel in the KWS program. Based on Exact Path assessments at the beginning and end of the school year, KWS students' growth outpaced national averages several times over in Math (4.6 times), Reading (3.4 times) and Language Arts (5.3 times). Students frame their own vision for success and take responsibility for the decisions and actions that move them at their own pace.
KWS enrollment is now open to students entering grades six through 12 for the fall 2024 semester. The program is tuition-free for Arizona residents; out-of-state students will pay tuition to attend, and scholarships may be available.
