Saturday, February 15, 2025, 1000 - 1300
How can we prepare for death in a culture that doesn't lend itself to acknowledging mortality? How is it that grief, in all its forms, can inform with clarity how we choose to live right now? Dr. Dawn Gross, hospice and palliative medicine physician and creator and host of 'Dying To Talk' radio, is leading a paradigm shift in how we talk about death and listen to grief. At the heart of both is a practice of curiosity. The words we choose impact our actions. Creating a community conversation centered on curiosity creates space for conversations about what matters most to occur. Join TLC as we discover what we are dying to talk about in a way that compels us to be living to listen. This is a Zoom event, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. PST. A short break will be included. Register at tlcserves.org If you have any questions please email us at tlcserves@gmail.com Suggested donation $30-$50 No one will be turned away for lack of funds and options are available when you register. Ordained sangha are welcome to register without donation. Once registered, you will receive an acknowledgment, and an additional email with vital info will arrive one or two days before the event. Within a week following the event, another link will be sent, providing access to the recording for three months. TLC Transitional Life Care is a non-profit organization offering education and support for the end-of-life transition.

Dr. Dawn has recently developed a radical approach to healing that she refers to as the "injury of grief" which she describes as the "ICU for the Soul."
