Dayton's Stars and Stripes Fireworks Show and Friday Nights in Courthouse Square Park

Dayton is the place to be Friday evening July 5th!
Start the night off in Courthouse Square Park for Dayton Friday Nights, a weekly free, family-friendly celebration held in July and August on Friday nights from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Every Friday Night includes live music, activities for kids, a market in the park, wine, dining, and shopping at downtown businesses. There is also a Cruise In for unique and antique cars on Fourth Street. Second Winds Community Band will be playing live music beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Bandstand on the 5th.
There will be more live music across Ferry Street from Courthouse Square Park at Loam Kitchen, where the Satellite Blooms will be playing 8:30-10:30 p.m. The special menu for the night includes Eola Crest Cattle Brats, Traeger BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Lamb Burgers, and Fresh Salads and Farm Veggies. Other local favorite restaurants The By-Pass Bar and Grill and Juanitas Cafe and Nieveria will be open and serving up delicious food and beverage options!
Finally find a spot and relax to watch the fireworks at our first ever Stars and Stripes Celebration! Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. and will be about 300 feet in the air - the show should be viewable from Courthouse Square Park and the softball field. The Dayton Fireworks Committee will have a booth at Friday Nights to help answer any questions visitors might have about the show. Vendors from Friday Nights will also be at setting up at the elementary school before the show and non-profits will also be selling drinks and snacks.
