Concert and Discussion on Art Politics in light of the Russo-Ukrainian War at LSE (8/12/23)

In our inaugural project, we are extremely delighted to be joined by 4 leading figures within their field. From electrifying performances of Gabriel Prokofiev's 'Howl! For Clarinet and Electronics to Dr. Khabat Abas' improvisation on her Bombshell Cello, we will then dive into some lively discourse with Dr. Tamsin Alexander and Dr. Franziska Strack centring on the question 'Where have artists situated themselves in the past in time of political turmoil and how can that inspire us as artists today.' Audience members are more than welcome to contribute during the discussion and we will release the structure of the discussion on the event day.

In light of the world's inclination to become increasingly divided, we sincerely wish that our inaugural project will inspire members of the creative arts community and beyond, and inspire more to dedicate their artistic practices to create an impact within our society.
