The Chris Millington Band has been entertaining international audiences for over 30 years; featuring Jennie Tuttle on vocals, Duncan Meiklejohn on vocals and guitar, Dave Flello on trumpet, Chris Millington on saxophone, Morry Stearns on keys and vocals, Bradley Clarke on drums and vocals and Don Cox on bass. Composer, arranger, saxophonist and bandleader, Chris Millington has toured with and led various musical ensembles across North America, Europe, Cyprus, the Pacific Rim and Russia. Chris has performed for the CBC, CTV and Global television networks, on numerous radio jingles, theatre shows, and jazz festivals across Canada. Chris has performed with artists David Foster, Sonny Stitt, Maureen Forester, The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Juliette, Hugh Marsh, Tommy Banks, Joe Turner, The Temptations, Nathan East, Hugh Fraser, Bill Ramsay and Pete Christlieb. Chris has also opened for Roy Hargrove and for the Victoria Symphony. Chris performed on numerous albums with other artists and produced his premier release "day waves", followed by "Boppin' at the Bengal Lounge", "The Christmas Album" and "Back to the Basics".
Multi-talented producer, vocalist and instrumentalist, Duncan Meiklejohn has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. He has recorded or performed as a backup vocalist with Sheena Easton, Celine Dion, David Foster, Loverboy, Michael Bolton, Nelly Furtado and more.
You are more likely to recognize Duncan's voice if you were to hear some of the jingles he has sung. He has produced or performed on over 1,500 jingles over the past 20 years. Duncan's voice can be heard on the radio every day in virtually every state and province on the continent. His voice also appears in jingles and on commercials in Great Britain, New Zealand, and Japan.
Pianist and Composer, Morry Stearns is a long time member of David Foster's Canadian band, featuring performances with David, Celine Dion, Nelly Furtado, Bryan Adams, Gordon Lightfoot, Kenny Loggins, Kenny Rogers, Peter Cetera, Sheena Easton, Michael Bolton, Richard Marx, Stephen Bishop, Dan Hill, Boz Scaggs, members of the band Chicago, John Parr, Michael Damien, the Atlanta Symphony, and others. Morry performed with David Foster, Celine Dion, Rich Little, and the N.A.C. Symphony Orchestra at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, in a Royal Command Performance for Prince Charles and Lady Diana, Brian and Mila Mulroney, and 2,400 guests. Morry has also performed and/or recorded sessions with Christina Aguilera, Michael McDonald, Booker T, Priscilla Coolidge, Peabo Bryson, Burton Cummings, Paul Horn, Toots Thielemans, and the Victoria Symphony.
Morry composed of 'Mother Earth', dubbed Canada's official Earth Day song in 1990. It was recorded in English and French, and made into a video that played on MuchMusic nationally. Composer of 'Welcome to Our Island Home' and 'Hear the Call'. These two soundtracks were part of Victoria's winning bids in Montreal and Seoul Korea, to secure the 1994 Commonwealth Games for Victoria.
