Saturday, November 18, 2023, 0900 - 1530
Come along to our Bramble basket weaving workshop for a special experience you will never forget.

Spend a day out on the farm and in our huge magical classroom learning how to weave a beautiful Bramble Basket from scratch. Who knew that those thorny rambling Brambles could be so useful?

Jenny will guide you from start to finish, as you first go out into the fields to harvest and prepare your Bramble vines, then, after a break for lunch, you will weave your Bramble Basket.

Learn about Bramble as a material, then learn several different weaving techniques as you move through the various stages of creating your very own unique bramble basket.

Finish the day with a very special and useful basket to take home and impress your family and friends.

All day you can chat and laugh along, with the small group of other people sharing the journey with you.

THIS WORKSHOP IS SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS and will include learning techniques to form the base, the sides, and the rim of the basket.

It is so much more enjoyable, relaxing and rewarding to make your own basket than buying one already made, especially when you have foraged your own natural materials for weaving.
