Fri Nov 08 (8pm-1am, £5/7) - Prepare yourself for a righteous evening of intimate live jazz, free form improvisation and beautiful original compositions as LIVE IN THE LOUNGE welcomes back long term CLF collaborator and stunning performer - ATHENA APERTA + FRIENDS (LIVE), deep in our speakeasy jazz lounge at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.
Expect special guest Live acts throughout the evening, as ATHENA is joined by fresh, new gifted talent, performing for your souled out and blissed up Friday night pleasure!

With influences from a variety of genres, Athena Aperta believes in the fluidity of life, music and the self. Aperta is an adjective in Latin with four definitions: cloudless; frank/clear/manifest; open/public/free; or uncovered/exposed/opened.
Athena Aperta used to perform under the name Casey Tufnell and has nearly a decade of experience performing live. Her live shows are wonderful and different each time. With a variety of musicians they play with, as well as allocating space for improvised songs where the audience can get involved. Never failing to wow the audience with her tones, songwriting abilities and humour.
