Pianist Ashley Wey will kick off the night featuring her Trio, which includes Louis Rudner on bass and Hans Verhoeven on drums.
She will feature music composed by the great Ashley Wey and her versions of older songs, including songs from the Ahmad Jamal songbook to the Beatles songbook, done in the style of Ashley Wey.
The Ashley Wey Trio will be joined by the great Barrie Sorensen and Miguelito Valdes for the second set featuring her original compositions, true to what she conceived these songs to be performed, originally composed for the quintet.
