37th Annual Alaska Business Hall of Fame

Join top business leaders in Alaska as they celebrate four outstanding Alaska business leaders as they join the Alaska Business Hall of Fame. Business peers recently selected Sheri Buretta, Pres. and CEO of Chugach Alaska Corporation, David Karp - SVP and Managing Director for Saltchuk and President of Naniq Global Logistics and Mark Pfeffer, Founder Pfeffer Development and CONRAC Solutions. The committee will also present the prestigious Denali Award to Jennifer Schrage, President of Signature Land Services. Schrage will be the third Alaskan to ever receive this award. These business leaders are honored for their direct impact toward furthering the success of Alaska business, demonstrated support and commitment to Junior Achievement's programs, and demonstrated commitment to Alaska business.

Business leaders will also present the JA Educator and Volunteer of the Year awards to Sydney Top of Dimond High School and Stasia Straley of the University of Alaska Anchorage.

In 1987, Alaska Business Magazine began the Alaska Business Hall of Fame to honor outstanding individuals of Alaskan business. Since then, the event has become one of the state's most prestigious events, inducting new Laureates on an annual basis. The event is a fundraiser for Junior Achievement of Alaska, a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of K-12 students in Alaska.
