2024 Bayanihan Gala

The Bayanihan Gala recognizes and honors outstanding leaders and members of the community who have made significant contributions to society, whether through public service, business, education, or other areas. These honorees are celebrated for their unwavering dedication to civic responsibility, exemplary leadership, and impactful service, often serving and standing as aspirational role models within the Filipino community.
Fundraising for the FilCom Center:
The Gala is also a key fundraising event for the Filipino Community Center located in Waipahu, Hawaii. The funds raised are used to support the center's various programs and services that benefit the Filipino community, including educational programs, cultural events, and community outreach initiatives.
Community Building:
The Gala provides an opportunity for members of the Filipino community, as well as supporters and allies, to come together, network, and strengthen relationships. It fosters a sense of unity and collective identity, reinforcing the importance of community support and collaboration.
