Tri-Valley CAREs 40th Anniversary Party!

Tri-Valley CAREs invites the whole community to join us in celebrating 40 years supporting peace, justice and the environment! Tri-Valley CAREs is located in Livermore and was started in 1983 by concerned citizens living near the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The group has worked to ensure there is stong cleanup of environmental contamination at both the Livermore Lab main site in Livermore and at Site 300 in Tracy. The group has challenged dangerous nuclear weapons programs at the Lab and this event will feature a short program about the history of the organization and our ongoing work. There will be free food and drinks and some entertaining musical accompanyment. There will be a raffle and plenty of time to meet people and enjoy the company of our members new and old.
